Tina Price started Price Business Solutions in 2004 with the primary goal of being a trusted advisor who provides insightful accounting advice so her clients can make more informed financial decisions. Now, eight years later, she’s known as one of the most proven and trusted accountants in the greater Chattanooga area.
Offering a wide range of small business accounting services, Price specializes in tax planning, preparation and problem solving – from annual returns of all kinds up to back tax reconciliation and IRS audits. In addition, Price helps small businesses with strategic planning, bank financing, valuation, succession planning and even part-time Chief Financial Officer services. Certified by Intuit as a QuickBooks Professional Advisor since 2003, Price offers complete QuickBooks training, support and associated business reconciliation services. And for individuals, Price handles personal financial planning, estate planning and elder care financial preparation.
Price began her career as a Systems Control Analyst with Provident Life and Accident Insurance Company in 1981. In 1993, she moved into more traditional accounts payable/receivable and payroll responsibilities with two smaller businesses before becoming an accountant with Schultz and Associates, CPA’s in 2002. In 2004, Price left Schultz to start Price Business Solutions, which offers accounting services to the once underserved areas of Sale Creek, Soddy Daisy, Dayton and Spring City, Tennessee as well as the greater Chattanooga Area.
As an accountant, Price has assisted in financial statement audits of local corporations and prepared many different types of tax forms, including Schedule C & E’s, S-Corporations, C-Corporations, and Partnership returns. She’s also highly experienced in the preparation of payroll: 940, 941, SUTA and FUTA; and sales and use tax returns.
Price received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2001. She also holds an Associates degree in Business Administration, Accounting from Chattanooga State Technical Community College and a Certificate of Computer Programming and Data Processing from the Electronic Computer Programming Institute.
Price is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP), National Society of Accountants (NSA), National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers (NACPB), and National Association of Professional Women (NAPW).
